STATEMENT OF PURPOSE FOR BCC CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Bethesda Community Church strives to connect children to God by cultivating a heart-transforming faith in Jesus Christ through biblically sound teaching and relational discipleship.

Purpose:

1. **Spiritual Nurture and Development:** - Provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow in their faith and develop a personal relationship with God. (Matthew 19:14, Mark 10:14) - Teach children the Bible and help them understand its relevance to their lives. (Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Psalm 119:105) - Encourage children to develop a habit of prayer and worship. (Matthew 21:15-16, Psalm 8:2)

2. **Evangelism and Outreach:** - Share the Gospel with children who may not know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
